Beyond her gastronomic talents, Gilling Andersen possesses extensive knowledge in the fields of beverage and has undertaken sommelier studies.
Her passion for beverages and pairings began at the Norwegian Beer Academy and has since led her to numerous collaborations within this world.
One notable achievement includes her six-course collaboration with Bokke, Bofkont and Insight Cellars. Additionally, she recently guest-hosted the premiere of a new television show, spearheaded and created by the Danish Knight of Beer, Carsten Berthelsen.

The World Is Not Enough

Prior to earning a 4-year culinary degree with praise in Copenhagen,
Chef Gilling Andersen came from an entertainment-and arts background. Her work remains influenced by exhibitions
and culture from that field.
Her colorful and diverse clientele includes politicians, notables and royalties, including Queen Margrethe II of Denmark,
for whom Chef Gilling Andersen had the honor to cook for
before her abdication.
Raised in a butcher's family, rural countryside on the West Coast of Selandia, Denmark, she relocated to Munich, Germany at 16
and later on, Copenhagen.
Active in the industry since 2008, she has showcased
and developed her skills across countries and continents,
including Norway, North America, and the UK.
Currently based in Copenhagen, she is preparing for new ventures in the near future.
